It is with a very heavy heart that I send this email to you all. Please help us find Jack, our foster dog, a forever home. As most of you know, we became Jack's foster family approximately 4 years ago. He quickly won our hearts and we were hopeful that he had found his forever home with us. Unfortunately, Jack was neglected before he came to us and has some trust issues. He is a little hesitant of new people at first but once he gets to know them he is a fiercely loyal companion. He has been my heart for the last 4 years. But, now we have a new love in our lives in our newborn baby, Austin. Jack has always been frightened of small children in the past and would be best suited for a home without them. He somewhat lunged at Austin yesterday. While both Gibbs and I believe it was playful in manner (as if she were a squeaky toy) and not necessarily aggressive, we can not take any chances. Jack loves to play ball, loves the beach, and loves to cozy up by your feet. Jack is a wonderful friend and a very vigilant protector. We are committed to finding him a home with people who love him as much as we do. Please help us do that.
Tara and Gibbs
